When it comes to the usage of public transportation, Germany surely is a far from being developed, especially in rural areas.
Apparently, I am the only adult under 60 who doesn’t own a car within a radius of 25 km. There are only teenagers and senior citizens going by bus with me.
You’ve already forgotten what it feels like to NOT use the car, even when it comes to short distances? If so, I would strongly recommend to read the inspiring blog post Walk the Walk at The Grist or accept the 2-Mile-challenge yourself.
